DraftCompass

This is what you are looking for

Your rankings, sitting beside the live draft board. Drafted players disappear as picks come in, so what you see is always who is still available.

The DraftCompass overlay open beneath a live Sleeper draft board

Getting started

  1. 1

    Open a Sleeper draft

Go to any draft room on sleeper.com. The overlay loads automatically — you do not need to click the extension icon. If a draft was already open, refresh the page once.

  2. 2

    Add your rankings

Open Settings in the overlay and paste your list — one player per line, in your order. That order is exactly how they will appear.

The overlay settings panel with the rankings import box

Until you import a list the board shows No players available, which is normal rather than a fault.

  3. 3

Put it where you want it

Drag the overlay by its header to reposition it. Use the handle in the corner to resize, and the + and buttons to change text size. It remembers where you left it.

Hiding and showing the overlay

Click the DraftCompass icon in your Chrome toolbar and use the power button. If you do not see the icon, open the puzzle-piece menu and pin DraftCompass so it stays visible.

With Pro

Everything above works on the free plan. Pro adds context about your own roster while the draft is moving.

Ranking sources

Pull rankings from Underdog, FantasyCalc, KeepTradeCut and FFPC instead of pasting a list, and refresh them mid-draft.

Your exposure

Every player shows what share of your drafts already has them, so you can see when you are stacking up on someone before it becomes a problem.

Stacks

Teammates of players you already roster are highlighted: green where a stack helps, yellow and red as you accumulate more receivers from one team than a quarterback can feed.

Bye weeks and positional counts

Players sharing a bye with someone at the same position are flagged, and a live count tracks what you have drafted by position and how many picks remain.

Each of these can be switched off if you find them noisy.

The Lineup Analyzer

A separate extension, and a different job: the Draft Companion above helps you draft, the Analyzer helps you set a lineup each week. If you installed that one instead, this is the part you want.

What it does differently

It scores your players from sportsbook player props rather than a site’s own projections, then re-scores them under your league’s exact rules — PPR value, TE premium, first-down and yardage bonuses included. Two leagues with the same roster can get different advice, which is the point.

Using it

  • Open your team page on Sleeper, ESPN or Yahoo.
  • Click the DraftCompass icon in the Chrome toolbar. It opens as a side panel down the right of the browser, not a popup — so it stays open while you move around your roster.
  • Pick the team you want, and it fills every slot with the best available option.

No icon in the toolbar? Click the puzzle-piece button and pin DraftCompass. Players whose games have kicked off are locked, so it never suggests a change you cannot make.

It needs Pro. Sign in with a Pro account and the panel unlocks; without one it will ask you to sign in rather than showing a roster. If a player has too little prop data, or the feed is briefly unreachable, it falls back to the platform’s own projection and says so rather than going blank.

Not working?

  • Nothing appears in the draft room. Refresh the page. Extensions only attach to tabs opened after they were installed.
  • It asks you to sign in and you already have. Sign in on this site in the same browser, then use the re-check link in the overlay.
  • The list is empty. Import rankings from Settings — the overlay has no default list.
  • The Lineup Analyzer asks for Pro and you have it. Make sure you are signed in on this browser, then reopen the panel — it re-checks each time it opens.
