Privacy Policy

Only what the product needs to work:

• Account details — your email address, and a display name or username. Accounts are handled by Clerk; we store an identifier linking you to them.
• Fantasy platform identifiers — the public Sleeper or Fleaflicker username you choose to connect, and the account id that platform returns.
• League data — leagues you are in, rosters, weekly results, standings and entry fees you enter. This is fetched from your fantasy platform and cached so reports load without refetching everything each time.
• Billing details — subscription status and the customer identifier Stripe gives us. We never see or store your card number.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We do not ask for them and cannot accept them. Sleeper connections use only your public username. This is why some platforms are unavailable: we removed integrations that would have required storing a password.

We rely on a small number of providers, each for one job:

• Clerk — sign-in and account management
• Stripe — subscription payments
• Vercel — hosting, and privacy-friendly usage analytics
• Upstash — short-lived rate-limiting counters
• Sleeper, Fleaflicker, ESPN and Yahoo — the fantasy and sports data you ask us to fetch

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are used. It is cookie-free and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites.

There are three: DraftCompass Lite and DraftCompass Pro, which sit inside a Sleeper draft room, and the DraftCompass Lineup Analyzer, which reads your team page on Sleeper, ESPN or Yahoo. All three require a DraftCompass account.

What leaves your browser. Only your sign-in. Each extension asks Clerk for a short-lived session token and sends it to us so we can answer two questions: is this a real account, and does it have Pro. Nothing from the page you are looking at is sent to us — not the draft board, not your roster, not your leagues.

What stays on your device. Your custom rankings, your overlay layout and settings, and — for the Lineup Analyzer — the Yahoo authorisation token you get if you connect a Yahoo league. That token is held in your browser’s extension storage and is never transmitted to us. ESPN private leagues are read using the ESPN session you are already signed into, in your own browser, the same way the ESPN site itself does.

Why the extensions ask to read cookies. Solely to see whether you are signed in to DraftCompass, on draftcompass.app and our Clerk sign-in host. They do not read cookies for any other site.

The extensions run only on the pages listed in their store entries — Sleeper, and for the Analyzer, ESPN and Yahoo fantasy pages — and do nothing on any other site you visit.

Account and league data is kept while your account is open. Cached reports are refreshed or replaced as your leagues change. Rate-limiting counters expire within minutes.

You can disconnect a fantasy platform at any time from your dashboard, which removes the league data associated with it. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email draftcompass.app@gmail.com and we will action it.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to request a copy of your data, correct it, or object to how it is handled. Use the same address.

DraftCompass is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you meaningfully, tell you by email.
